President

1. The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors of the Chapter and all Chapter meetings.
2. She shall appoint all standing committees and oversee their effectiveness. The President shall be a member of all standing committees with the exception of the Nominating Committee, but is not required to attend meetings.
3. She shall be empowered to sign checks in the absence of the Treasurer.
4. She shall see that all duties and responsibilities that are implied in the Chapter By-Laws and these Standing Rules are fulfilled.
5. She shall maintain open communication with the Board of Directors, Chorus Director and Assistant Director(s) at all times.
6. She shall ensure that annual administrative goals for the new fiscal year are set.
7. She shall interact with the Program Manager and Communications Coordinator, as appropriate.
8. She shall maintain permanent files, to be turned over to her successor at the beginning of the new fiscal year.
9. She shall prepare and present an annual report at the Chapter's Annual Business Meeting.

Vice President

1. The Vice-President shall preside in the President's absence at all meetings of the Board of Directors and Chapter meetings.
2. She shall succeed the presidency should that office be vacated.
3. She shall serve as Membership Chairperson and new member contact. She?s responsible for ensuring that the following duties are performed:
   1. Maintain guest book and have guests sign book at each Chapter meeting.
   2. Distribute membership materials to guests as appropriate.
   3. Follow up with guests to determine their interest in membership.
   4. Invite guest to apply for membership and inform them of the application process.
   5. Inform the Education Team and Board of any membership applications.
   6. Inform the applicant of the Board of Directors' decision regarding her application.
   7. Grant access for new members to online chorus management system. Inform new members of the Chapter By-Laws, Chapter Standing Rules and Harmony Inc. Code of Ethics, and direct new members on how to access and download the documents.
   8. Assign a member in good standing to be ?Sister in Song? for each new member. Make sure the new member is aware of who is her ?Sister? and that she should feel comfortable approaching this member for any questions that arise.
   9. Order Harmony, Inc. membership pins and nametags for new members, and replacement pins and tags for current members as necessary.
   10. Submit applications for new members to the Chapter Secretary.
4. She shall work actively with the President in any way requested.
5. She shall take attendance at each rehearsal and each performance, and keep the Director informed of the attendance status of the chorus.
6. She shall work with Public Relations, Music Team, and other committees as appropriate to create new membership recruitment programs.
7. She shall interact with the Treasurer, Program Manager and Communications Coordinator, as appropriate. 8. She shall maintain permanent files, to be turned over to her successor at the beginning of the new fiscal year. 8. She shall prepare and present an annual membership report to the President.

Treasurer

1. 1. The Treasurer shall be custodian of all Chapter funds, receiving and disbursing funds as directed by these Standing Rules or the Board of Directors.
2. 2. She shall maintain Chapter checking and/or savings accounts as directed by the Board of Directors and shall be empowered to sign checks.
3. 3. The Treasurer shall give an itemized report at each Board of Directors meeting.
4. 4. She shall notify members regarding payment of accounts. When accounts are 60 days delinquent, she shall notify the member. When accounts are 90 days delinquent, she shall notify the President, who will take appropriate action.
5. 5. She shall keep an accurate record of all receipts, disbursements, and a record of each member's account in ledgers belonging to the Chapter.
6. 6. She shall keep records of all fund-raising projects and shall collect all funds derived from this source immediately upon receipt from the Fund-Raising Chairperson.
7. 7. She shall maintain a sufficient petty cash fund, or have the Chapter checkbook on hand, to be available at each rehearsal to take care of emergency expenditures.
8. 8. She shall notify the Nominating Committee of members whose accounts are 90 days in arrears, as these members are not considered "in good standing" and therefore are ineligible for nomination to the Board of Directors.
9. 9. She shall submit the books for audit whenever requested by the Board of Directors or the membership.
10. 10. She shall close the books on the last day of the fiscal year and prepare them for audit.
11. 11. She shall interact with the Program Manager and Communications Coordinator, as appropriate.
12. 12. She shall maintain permanent files, to be turned over to her successor two weeks after the new fiscal year begins.
13. 13. She shall prepare and present an annual report to the President.
