Harmony, Inc. Area 2: area2harmony.org Harmony, Inc. is divided into six geographical areas within the United States and Canada, with chapters stretching from Manitoba to Florida, and Newfoundland to California. Area 2 encompasses the northeastern United States and Montreal, Quebec: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont in the U.S. and the Montreal City Voices chapter in Canada. |

Harmony, Inc. Area 4: www.area4harmonyinc.org Area 4 covers the eastern region of the United States and includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Area 4 also has several choruses in geographically outlying areas; Arizona, California, and New Mexico. |

General Barbershop
Barbershop Harmony Society: barbershop.org Founded in 1938 as the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA), the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) preserves and extends the reach of a uniquely American close harmony musical art form whose roots lie in African-American improvisation and European harmony traditions. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee since 2007, our nonprofit organization provides active programs and resources in music education, publishing, performance, and community outreach. |
Association of eXtreme Quartetting Harmony Brigades: harmonybrigade.org/ A Harmony Brigade Rally is an annual invitational weekend event for barbershop singers with significant quartet experience who are vocally capable, committed to learning challenging arrangements, and who are prepared to enjoy success in rally activities. The charts are of championship caliber, and somewhat challenging. It is not a chorus-oriented event, although a chorus performance of repertoire songs is always part of the Saturday night public show. |
Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association: mixedbarbershop.org/ The MBHA seeks to provide a “voice” for the community of barbershop singers whose ensembles include a mix of men and women singers. Through the MBHA, mixed barbershop harmony ensembles will find opportunities for competition and the ability to represent North America on the world stage at the World Mixed Harmony Competition in Germany, hosted by Barbershop in Germany.
